Paula Scher was my very recent goldmine of a designer that I had found. I felt that we had familiar styles granted she has a much more advanced knowledge of design than myself this particular moment in time, I just feel I have a connection to work.
She is one of the most famous graphic designers, and it blows my mind that I had not heard of this wonderful human being until last month. Goes to show you’re not researching graphic designers as I should be finding out more about the graphic design world.
She has greatly influenced a lot of my work from the past month, creating new paths for my own work, listening to lectures that she has given and taking the advice on board.
Hopefully someday in the future I will be able to work with this fabulous woman, and learn something from the experience.
“Pentagram partners Paula Scher and Abbott Miller have designed a public art installation inspired by Margaret Atwood’s classic science fiction novel The Handmaid’s Tale.”
